Substance Abuse Counselors work to provide support to individuals and groups entering and living the recovery process. These skills can be applied in a variety of settings including day programs, counseling programs, re-entry centers, detention facilities and hospitals. Both program options are designed to meet the requirements necessary to qualify graduates to sit for the CADC (certified alcohol and drug counselor) examination.
