Also study substance abuse and how a counselor successfully develops a treatment plan to aide a client in their recovery process. Qualify for entry-level counseling positions in settings such as rehabilitation centers, County and state agencies, and hospitals working as a Chemical Dependency Counselor, Intake and Assessment Counselor, Outreach Counselor or Group Facilitator.
