The 60 credit M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling prepares students for the profession of counseling by promoting the development of knowledge, skills and self-awareness. Students are prepared to seek employment and professional licensure as mental health counselors and/or addiction counselors or to continue their professional development in counselor education doctoral programs. The program is accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs.
