Midland College offers an Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counseling (ADAC) Program of study covering the 12 core functions of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counseling. The certification program offers courses necessary to qualify as Counselor Intern with the Texas Department of State Health Services. The Associate of Applied Science Degree program offers a course of study in ADAC along with basic courses that would be applicable to a career in alcohol and drug abuse counseling.
