Our master’s program allows you to select from two dedicated paths: Substance Abuse and Loss and Grief. Our program’s substance abuse track prepares students to build successful careers in a field for which the need for well-trained counselors is firmly established. Completion of the curriculum allows graduates to apply for CASAC (Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor) certification in New York State. Our program’s loss and grief track prepares students to work with the chronically and terminally ill and with their families and survivors.
