In the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at SRU, students can choose from four areas of concentration: School and Youth Counseling, Adult Counseling, Addiction Counseling, and Counseling Older Adults. Students in this program benefit from a network of agencies and schools that provide valuable professional experience through practicums and internships. Graduates are qualified for employment in a variety of settings, including community mental health agencies, residential treatment facilities, elementary and secondary schools, and hospitals.
