This presentation will first provide a broad overview of personality disorders, including their diagnostic criteria and etiology theories. Participants will then focus specifically on antisocial and borderline personality disorders and why they may be prevalent in the substance use and mental health disorder fields. This training will specifically cover the neurobiology that supports the behaviors and the science behind them. Learners will come away with a practical understanding of these disorders and some basic tools to utilize in the clinical setting.
