This free training on Screening Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT) for harmful substance use takes place weekly on Thursdays from 12 noon till 1pm SAST on the following dates: 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29 August 2024. We address use of validated screening tools (AUDIT, DUDIT and ASSIST) and brief intervention strategies as an approach to identifying and modifying harmful patterns of substance use.
