Speaker: Debra Filla, BA, MBA, CNRC I&II The Academy for Addiction & Mental Health Nutrition believes that the underlying drivers of substance use disorders (SUDs) and mental health issues are nutrient and neurotransmitter imbalances. These imbalances can be successfully addressed using nutritional strategies. By “feeding the brain and healing the gut,” the body becomes the critical third leg of the recovery stool. This third leg, in combination with the psychosocial and spiritual legs of the stool, is a critical component for long-term recovery. In this 1.5-hour online seminar, participants will learn key recovery-supporting nutritional strategies that they can apply immediately, whether for self, family, or clients.
