This training on Screening Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT) for harmful substance use takes place weekly on Thursdays from 12 noon till 1pm SAST on the following dates: 22, 29 June and 6, 13 & 20 July 2023. We address use of validated screening tools (AUDIT, DUDIT and ASSIST) and brief intervention strategies as an approach to identifying and modifying harmful patterns of substance use.
