This training on Screening Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT) for harmful substance use takes place weekly on Mondays from 12 noon til 1pm SAST on the following dates: 11th, 18th, 25th October 2021 and 8th November 2021 (1st November is a public holiday). We address use of validated screening tools (AUDIT and DUDIT) and brief intervention strategies as an approach to identifying and modifying harmful patterns of substance use.
