ISSUP South Africa, ITTC-SA and SAMRC - GATS-SA, invite you to their upcoming Webinar Series on Tobacco Use in South Africa. GATS is a nationally representative household survey of adults 15 years of age or older, conducted to enhance the capacity of countries to design, implement and evaluate tobacco control interventions. This webinar aims to discuss the successful implementation of GATS that was achieved for the very first time in South Africa in 2021. This will be a three-part webinar held over Two Days. First Session: Tuesday 25th October at 12:30PM South Africa Time | 11:30AM UK Time The first and second parts are presented on the first day of the webinar which is aimed at detailing what GATS is and its global significance, the experience of implementing GATS in South Africa as well as some key results from GATS-SA. Second Session: Wednesday 26th October at 3:00PM South Africa Time | 2:00PM UK Time The third part of the webinar is presented on the second day of the webinar and will focus on discussing the policy implications of GATS-SA results.
