Stigma, exclusion, and marginalization associated with substance use disorders can deter individuals from seeking, accessing, and completing demand reduction services. Raising awareness and training are essential to tackle the stigma associated with mental health problems, including substance use disorders. The Stigma Section of the World Psychiatric Association (WPA) invites you to the free webinar comprising three panels scheduled for 9:30 to 13:30 EST (Washington, DC time), corresponding to 15:30 to 19:30 CET (Central European Time). The panels will feature experts engaged in developing and leading successful anti-stigma programs in different parts of the world. Discussions will appeal to anyone interested in understanding the challenges and opportunities involved in successful anti-stigma work.
