ELP – Emerging Leaders of Pakistan Alumnus
Mr. Ahmad Shah did his Master of Development Studies (MDS) from COMSATS Institute of Information Technology (CIIT) Abbottabad, Pakistan. His life transformed after participating in the 6th Asian Youth Congress Bali, Indonesia in 2008. Which was organized by The Colombo Plan Drug Advisory Program (CPDAP) and supported by The U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL). That is where he got his inspiration and motivation to work in the field of Drug Demand Reduction (DDR) and Youth Development.
With the support of The U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL), The Colombo Plan Drug Advisory Program (DAP), Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) and The Government of Pakistan he has been to about Seventeen (17) different countries across Asia, Africa and United State of America (USA). The theme of the programs he attended was mainly Drug Demand Reduction (DDR) and Youth Development.
Previously, He served national and international organizations such as The Colombo Plan Drug Advisory Programme (CPDAP), The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), The Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN), The Youth Development Foundation (YDF) and The Drug Free Pakistan Foundation (DFPF). Also, he worked as an Exchange Ambassador (EA) with The U.S. Embassy of Pakistan for one year.
Moreover, He also received and implemented Small Grants projects in the field of Drug Demand Reduction (DDR) and Youth Development with the supported by the United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan (USEFP) - Pak U.S. Alumni Network (PUAN), United Nation Development Programme (UNDP), Aga Khan Rural Support Programme (AKRSP) and Government of Pakistan.
