A training for trainers on overcoming traumatic experiences in combatants and prisoners of war for the deployment of peer-to-peer cascading training was held on November 6-10, in Prague, Czech Republic. The training took place within the framework of the All-Ukrainian mental health program, which is being implemented at the initiative of First Lady Olena Zelenska.

The participants of the training were 20 trainers from Ukraine, who themselves have combat experience and after the training (the first step of this project) will scale the knowledge gained in a peer-to-peer format. These are representatives of various departments, the non-governmental sector, the field of mental health, in particular, military psychologists working in hospitals, including with prisoners of war, psychologists of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the National Guard, the State Emergency Service, rehabilitation centers and representatives of departments of relevant ministries.
The course program was created and adapted to the needs and unique experience of Ukraine, including socio-cultural characteristics, by representatives of the International Center for Technology Transfer in Ukraine (ITTC Ukraine) together with colleagues from the University of California, San Diego, who specialize in working with people with combat experience.
