Racial-Ethnic Differences in Lack of Treatment Among Care-Seeking People With Substance Use Disorders

This study documents disparities in access to substance disorder (SUD) treatments among different ethnicities and racial demographics. The study discusses barriers to access for SUD patients such as readiness to seek treatment, lack of knowledge about treatment options, and specific variations across racial groups. This study may be of interest to stakeholders who are interested in drivers of access to SUD treatments amongst racial groups.
